27XL Explosion-Proof LED Light with XLT

FEDERAL SIGNAL introduces the Model 27XL Explosion Proof Warning Light with XLT (extreme light technology)

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL June 1, 2007 - Federal Signal introduces the new Model 27XL explosion proof LED warning light with XLT (extreme light technology). This bright XLT light produces 60 high intensity flashes per minute operating on 24VDC, 120VAC and 240 VAC, 50/60 HZ. It is UL and cUL listed. It is Type 4X rated; constructed to IP66 and is also marine rated.

Extreme Light Technology (XLT) is a break through high-intensity LED array designed to meet the demands of industrial customers, producing maximum light output and superior lens fill.

It features a standard low in-rush limiting circuitry design that provides greater compatibility with factory automation control systems and less electrical interface with in-rush sensitive devices. It has an effective candlepower (ECP) of up to 134. A pendant mount is supplied and a ceiling mount and 90° wall mount are available options. Ideal for use in areas such as oil rigs, mines, refineries and chemical plants.
