Important Product Support Announcement

AKUSTA / Federal Signal SB-AµCAMS (or ICAMS) Motherboard and AµDICOM Intercom

On October 30, 2003, Federal Signal Corporation announced the phasing out product support for Akusta SB-AµCAMS (or ICAMS) Motherboard PCB part ref: 821800, we have now found certain critical components unobtainable throughout the world.

At this time we would like to formally announce that we are no longer able to repair or replace the Akusta AµCams main PCB part ref: 821800 within the SB-AµCams (or ICAMS) system. Additionally, we are not able to supply any spare parts or repair service for the Akusta Aµdicom (Intercom) System (Motherboard part ref: 831078).

We are aware of the equipments important potential life saving capabilities and would like to assist you in ensuring your company’s continual personnel and property safety. We welcome the opportunity to discuss an attractive replacement package for your current obsolete Public Address / General Alarm system(s) manufactured by Akusta (A Federal Signal owned company).
